Where Efrain starts
These six commitments are the starting point for Efrain's campaign. Each one will grow more specific as he continues listening to students, teachers, families, and neighbors across Donna.
Students First
Every vote, every budget line, and every district decision should be weighed against one question: is this good for Donna students? When the answer drives the decision, everything else falls into place.
Supporting Teachers
Teachers do the most important work in the district. They deserve a board that respects their time, listens to their experience, and backs them up with the support they need to do their jobs well.
Listening to Families
Parents and guardians should never feel like outsiders in their own district. Efrain wants families heard early, answered honestly, and treated as partners in their children's education.
Responsible Leadership
Donna ISD's resources belong to the community. Efrain believes in careful planning, honest problem solving, and decisions made in the open, the same way he has run his business.
Opportunity for Every Student
College, career, and technical paths should all be real options for Donna students. More opportunities means more doors open when graduation day comes.
Pride in Donna
Strong schools build a strong community. Efrain wants Donna ISD to be a district that students, staff, and neighbors talk about with pride.
